I'm very excited about this new Presonus system just released. I'll have to wait three weeks to see one, but the demo looks great. I currently have 10 inputs from my interfaces and I need more! Looking around I was very pleased to see this. 16 inputs, fits in a rack - no desk taking up space and collecting dust. Incredible flexibility with the outputs and something I have always wanted - you can adjust the input levels from behind the kit on an iPhone, iPad or Windows surface. Plus I can set up multiple monitor mixes and save them - one for tracking drums, one vocals etc and recall them instantly. Has built in effects, eq and compression. I'm planning on getting this plus three new tom mics and some new speakers too. Presonus - another very innovative USA company.

You make me feel like such a dinosaur! I have a Tascam Digital Portastudio DP/01FX that I bought in 2007. It's a great unit, but your George Jetson Presonus makes my old digital Tascam look like it's from the Flintstones era! :p
Very impressive stuff, (I like the computer/user interface,) coming from Presonus. What's the 'looking price' for the unit? Can't be cheap.
