Does anyone know if there is a source for single ply bass drum hoops, as opposed to the readily available multi-ply types?

Chicago Drum & Restoration is working on making solid rerings for a certain drum shell manufacturer for there vintage shells and is going to tool up for solid bass drum hoops in the near future.
