Silver Sparkle Wrap Last viewed: 3 days ago

Hey guys I have been looking at a few samples of Silver sparkle wrap. Some vintage, some new and so on. I have noticed that on a lot of them they have at times some of the white backing showing through the sparkle. Is that normal for this color?

So far the new samples I have are from Precision and Jammin Sam.

I seem to remember reading that all drum wraps are made by one company... but I can remember where I read that. I my memory is correct then variations in quality are pretty unlikely. I'll see if I can find that source.

Sorry I can't remember.

Not a Guru... just interested..

delmar makes the drum wrap. and the way its applied to the spkls and glass glitters, its not always complete coverage.

i used to work at a indie drum shop and i would have to measure and cut around them if needed. and in some cases the color of the wrap didn't match from batch to batch. unfortunately that's how it is.

as far as vintage wrap, i never seen any isues with coverage on vintage drums. and the way it was made back then is different than how they make it now.
