Do you know what year(s) the drums were made? My Silver Sparkle Rogers from 1966 are a darker shade of silver. Maybe they're aged with a a little bit of darkening occurring.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Is that color actually that dark? They're beautiful

They have faded to a pewter like tone. The serial no. on the 13 is 14147 which I believe is 65-66

We have cousins with very similar fade. My Top Hat set has labels that date the drums to 1966. The 1966 Luxor snare is just a tiny bit lighter in color. The lighting and paint color of the room make the drum set look sorta like champagne. But the small picture taken on my patio is much more accurate for the drum color
