Should I sell my nice D-20 kit?

So I recently got another RC kit- black lacquer bop kit 18" bass, 14" floor and a deep 12 up.

A really cool kit, but so is my D-20!

I can't keep them all (well, I can but I can't have them all set up and ready to play like I'd like to!)

So I have been thinking about letting the D-20 go, and if I did, I'd prefer it go to a deserving member here before I throw it into the giant wood chipper known as eBay...

I put a lot of work into the D-20 kit, and it looks good and sounds even better now.

Anyway, what do you guys think?Mind Blowi

I would not sell anything unless you have to for financial reasons. Otherwise - when you would like to use that (gone) kit, you will regret it. Just stack it up (I use boards between the drums - instead of all that weight on the heads) and cover her with a big bed sheet.

I have set a limit on how many I can have. I have had to sell off something in order to acquire something else. It's like I put a limit on the size of my collection, and sometimes this happens with simply one item. Like say I want to buy a cymbal....I will not let myself buy it unless I sell another one of equal value and my drum activity is of no cost to me.

Of course, sometimes the collection can expand if you use a flipping deal. If I discover a great flip deal and I fall in love with the drums in the process, I will consider keeping it if I can get myslef to sell off something else to justify the expense.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Can you post a photo of each kit? Sorry if you have already.... The RC bop kit seems like it might want to move :)

I say don't sell it. The reasons are stated above.

Good luck with whatever you do.

Well I'm not selling the bop kit until I at least get to platy it once!

I do have pictures of both kits around here in other posts.

I'll probably keep them. I can easily store them away if I have to, but I don't have to right now...Mind Blowi
