I've owned my mod orange set for about 6 months and need one 22" BD hoop. Now that I have found it, I'm going to go cry in the corner. The whole set cost me about double this amount, and it included a supra!!!

I know a few years ago, guys were taking digital photos of a finish such as this and making their own inlays. Heck, with a good camera, you wouldn't have to gamble on matching the fade. I know if I were in your boots, I sure would give it a try!

Last I knew, Jammin' Sams has Mod. Orange. Contact him for a sample. If it's close (which I'm 95% sure it will be) order the size of inlay strip you need and just install it on a 60s (or similar) hoop...

I know, I know... that's not "good enough" for a lot of people here on the forum. But, replacing parts with new (or repro) parts is accepted in almost every other area of "restorations" that I know of. Anybody ever watch "American Restorations" on the History channel?
