Serial number question?

Hi

New boy here with a Big R badge (1970's I believe) Rogers snare, wondering if it can be more acurately dated by it's serial no. D606150. Great site by the way!

Serial numbers arent always the best means of dating Big R drums.

Question.......

The Throw off knob, and the dampener knob........ are they solid, or is there a rivet in the center of the knob? If solid....... 1976. If not..... later, 1980ish.

Straight sided shell.............. Super Ten. Chrome over steel.

A band of five indented grooves around the center of the shell......Dynasonic. Should also have the guarded bottom hoop and the dynasonic rail. Chrome over Brass.

I guess it's a Dynasonic then. I need to replace damaged top rim and missing snare rail. Any help locating would be appreciated. Also worth when fully restored?? Overall condition excellent. Thanks.
