Sweeeeet! What did you use to clear-coat it? That drum will sound great if you crank it a bit.

Nice job! That one is now good to go for another 50 years.

Wow that looks great. Nice photos as usual by the way. I have an 8x15 Ludwig snare from '64 and it sound pretty great both cranked up and loose. You need to get some 15" snare wires to finish this bad boy off. Great job!

Thanks ya'all. I finished it with Cabot Gloss Poly, 3 coats and that was after a sealer. As for the 15" snare wires, yes I agree but want to find a vintage set of wires so I'll have to wait until I find them. It does have a beautiful sound when tuned high for sure.

and as for my photography.....after 40 years, I'd better know what I'm doing, thanks for the compliment.
