once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
That sucks, been there before. I hope everything works out for you.

Looking for a late 80's to early 90's, preferably Arctic White Pearl MLX 14x14 floor tom.
real sorry to hear that youre having to sell. i think member atlantadrumguy is looking for an avedis 24 if that helps any.
ive also been very close to having to let it all go. i was actually ok with it. my wife wouldnt let me do it. it worked out that i didnt have to and have actually added to my collection. i would certainly wish the same good fortune on you. if this helps any, at least you have something to sell. thats a good thing. plus, here is the way i viewed it when i was in your boat. if i did sell it all, i could begin to collect again if i chose to do so and maybe have even better stuff.
i hope your situation gets better, no matter what it is. i dont know you personally that i am aware of. but, feel free to pm me if you just need to talk or anything. i'll be glad to help a drumbrother in any way that i can...

Gary, Sorry to hear about your situation. I am not buying anything right now, but I will ask around for you. Hang in there. Tommy
ty all for your concerns, its looking better sold the leedys 1921 black elite kit ,the acro ,2 pair of sweet hats man those old hats were nice, i have offers on the ss octa kit that's the one i need to sell space issue, the canister is on feebay with a bid of 50 already so im hanging in there im always positive its just i cant be a collector any more as the bills are more than the cash flow so iam looking toward the future with a positive note im here on this planet for a reason Gods plan i know its for my family, not drums , i just dont know how much i need to sell now, it the little things all my hardware and accessories and brass so much to get to new homes i just dont like selling to dealers to flip that gets me! no offense to the land sharks here but id rather sell it to a player or if its right a collector selling something for less than what i payed is bad karma for me knowing what i have in it its like taking voice or dance lessons from my 10 year old and looking at the collection when there is a bill's due and saying well i have this vintage snare what will you give me for it. so the craze is over for me! it is just wood and steel and brass although some of the best ive ever heard as i know the best sounds from a players perspective tyViolin
