Hope Mr e c curtis doesn't mind...

A couple of months ago I was chasing a Speed king footboard, Curtis responded and quickly mailed one off to me (Finances to be agreed to upon my receipt of the part). It is now a couple of months and the package has still not arrived.. suspect it is now a "No Show' item, We have been unable to track it since a US scan a few days after it was posted..

I post the last few P/Ms between Curtis and myself because I think anyone who has not previously dealt with him should know just what kind of guy he is.. he is what makes this forum such a great place to be..

No worries John. I guess we just write it up as a loss. I was planning to give it to you anyway so it's fine.

Maybe if we forget it it will pop back up?

Best to you!

Eric, that was and is a very generous thought.. and I really appreciate it.. no doubt in my mind that you are a great guy and I'd love to catch up someday for a chat & a beer maybe. However I'd like to at least send you some money to cover the postage, when & if the footplate ever shows up we can re sort the damages..

So if you pm or email me your BSB info I'll do a transfer..

Cheers

You are a true gentleman sir!!! But I cannot accept any payment! It was a gift from the start with me. It's just unfortunate the way it played out. As soon as I hit "the big time" with my music career I will be sure to tour OZ and I will let you know first thing so we can meet up and share great beer and become great friends!!!

Cheers Brother!!!

Eric Curtis

Thank you Buddy (but it's not finished yet I have a Plan)

Once again Gerald Sterkin comes through in the clutch.

He is an honest, straight shooting cat.

His word is solid gold.

He ships fast.

His packing is bomb proof.

He apparently has almost all the drum parts I need.

If he was a chick I would ask him to marry me.

If I was closer to him I would give him a great big bro hug.

He's probably glad he lives halfway across the country from me.

Did some business with Purdie Shuffle. He paid me to install veneer on his drum shells and finish them. Smooth transaction, John was a nice guy to work for, I appreciate his business!
