Scam or no?

I found this on ebay just now. They look like teardrop lugs, except they fasten with screws. my teardrop lugs have studs. These are screw on. I saw an acrilic kit today on another thread here today, it had teardrop lugs and was japanese. The lugs were screwed on like most other drums. I restored my early 60's sonor kit very recently. Were sonor teardrops ever "screwed" on. Mine had "studs" and "nuts" as fasteners.

This guy sounds sorta like the scammer i read about.

I dunno if its a scam.....he does list it like he doesn't know what they are......chances are, probably japanese copies of sonor teardrops

My 1970 Sonor teardrop lugs fasten with screws. Maybe it's a 6 ply thing. Ask if it has re-rings.

Thanks for that info. I had no idea what the later model tear drop look like. here's my early 60 model lug.

Hi All.I know it alittle late on these..They are "star" drum lugs from the 60s...Copys of sonor..Star drums were made by Tama in the 60s along with other names to many to list..mike
