I found this Ruether kit on cl for $100, anyone know when these were made? Are they worth checking them out? Thanks.

Looks like a typical Pearl stencil of the early 70s...probably not worth much!

Look identical to my U.S.Mercury kit. Only white instead of Red. Not a bad buy for $100

I think that hardware indicates it is from the middle of the 70s. I might want to add though that I flipped a black Maxwin from somebody who told me they bought it new in the 80s. (Never verified the 80s possibilities) - just thought I would share that, as maybe they used that tom mounting for quite a while on stencils?

Personally, I would not buy that kit, as I really am not a fan of those ever so monopolizing lugs. Too bad - wish I liked them, it would be SO EASY to find a ton of kits with my "favorite lugs"!

The only reason I buy stuff that modern is to flip. Sometimes it comes with enough peripherals that it is worth buying to sell of the unwanted.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
