Royal Star Snare

Anyone have any idea where I might find anoriginal strainer (3-hole) for a Royal Star snare drum?

I understand this model was a Pre-Tama snare.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS in advance for your help.

I have a strainer for not the royal star but a star metal snare drum, its like a old slingerland / gretsch throw off, is that what your looking for. like a zoomatic type of thing?

Thanks for the post!

My problem is that I'm not really exactly sure what the correct configuration of the strainer should be. I've currently got "part" of the strainer on the drum and it mounts with three holes. However, it's missing the "throw" to change the drum from a snare to a tom. If you like, I could take a picture of what's on there currently and e-mail it to you for comparison purposes.

If that's OK with you, just provide an e-mail address and I'll get the pic out sometime this evening (after my daughter's high school graduation ceremony).

THANKS for your help!

I checked the thow off ive got and its a two point not 3 pont/ hole throw off so it'll not match your drum. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi, "BigZ".

THANKS for your feedback.

I appreciate the time you took in responding.

I took another look at the strainer and the configuration has two holes on the top, next to eachother horizontally and one screw in the middle, below the top two. From what I can see, the bottom hole is where the "throw" would mount, since the strainer itself IS NOT connected to this area.

Again, I could send yhou a picture of what I've got, if you think that you might have ANYTHING that could possibly fit this hole pattern. Just provide your e-mail at your convenience. THANKS AGAIN for your help!
