Sean, just to give you some additional thoughts:UK is the motherland of Premier and some Rogers', too. I know from another forum (located in UK) that your experience is a typical one: Star was almost not sold in UK in the 60's or early 70's.UK took notice of Tama first. So there's almost no 'history' on MIJ kits in UK. Hence the low interest in early MIJ kits: it is some kind of special for UK.But I'm sure, that if you offer the kits to other European countries (e.g. via ebay) or even worldwide, you'll get more money out of it.I personally would wait with the Blue Metallic kit some time, maybe a year or more. Although quite rare, these days the metallic wraps are not very much sought after.Quite in opposite, the silky red one should meet 'today's taste' much more.Just another :2Cents:Cheers, Ralf

Hello RalfThanks for the post, to be honest with you both kits actually sound better in comparison to the Rogers Londoner that i have as my personal kit. My thoughts are now that i may possibly keep the metallic blue star kit and sell the silky red kit and also the Rogers. Your advice on the matter has given me more understanding of these great MIJ kits.........On the matter of the silky red kit on your website which section would it go in as it has two type of lugs......Thanks...sean

You're NOT alone with this experience, which can be read here from time to time and stated by different members.The lack of explanation may be the reason why these old MIJ sets (I'd like to add Pearl and Yamaha, too) are still much too underrated.Thank you and 'welcome to the club, Sir'. ;)Good question. Just by pure addition of the number of lugs I'd put it in the lug 920 section. But: I like to point out that my website is private and does not claim to be the real deal. So someone else might find that the bass drum is the center point and therefore it should be added to the lug 924 section ... ;)Cheers, Ralf
