There's nothing quite like the Royal ace in build or sound and it's nice to see it getting the love and attention it deserves! I'm very fond of mine.

The later 2000 is also worthy... and underpriced in relation to its quality in the current marketplace.

Here's a fine example of a BDP which I found on Ebay Germany a couple of months ago,...I still need to install some replacement snare wires though.It sounds pretty decent but could be better.The craftsmanship on the woodwork of these Premiers is amazing !

I grabbed a nice WMP RA at the Chicago Show a few years back for $200!

A chap from England was going back,and didn't want to "lug" (pun intended) it back with him...

Didn't really know what I had,as I flipped it soon after..

think I got $350- $400 for it from a customer in Japan.
