This USED TO have something to see here - and I recall it was a sweet little offering of Roxy drums made in Germany. Why deleted? Were they snagged up?

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Heh, they are actually still available right now.

I went and checked them out and decided to pass. The satin flame "wrap" seemed almost like plastic cloth wrapped around the drums and was not fully attached. The construction in general (the rerings, & hardware) just seemed odd to me, although granted I know nothing of this manufacturer.

All in all just kind of got a weird vibe from the kit, and decided it wasn't worth purchasing as a "keep forever" kit.

Just picked them up this morning.

I agree with the other post, I have a weird feeling about the kit. But I loved the color and the snare is brass.

Ill post some pictures soon

And that seller is great, I've purchased some good items from him before.

...and the snare is brass.

Totally missed that, was focused on the rest of the kit due to already being happy with my snare. Nice catch, and now slightly jealous! DOH

Really liked the guy who was selling them. Upfront straight shooter with a lot of knowledge.
