These wont be changed in any way.
As a side note....
Over the past 25 years, tremendous improvements have been made in mounting systems. For its time the Rogers Memrilock was the very best available. Things just dont move. I like that. RIMS came into style, we were fed the coolaid of the gods by all the marketing hypes from all the drum companies, both big and small, about resonance, better mounting systems, isolation gaskets, single screw low mass lugs, carbon shells, and in general...... just a huge crock of bull. So here we are closing on the end of the first decade of the 21st century, and we are now being sold heads with various built in muffling, muffle rings, 2nd layer bearing edge rings like in the PS3 and PS4, two ply heads with reverse dots, two ply heads with Edge control and reverse dot. ....like the EC2 Reverse Dot head by Evans. And then theres the Powersonic bass head, the EMAD "Make my drum sound like a 70s Eagles album" drumhead, double thick two ply with muffle rings and foam, you name it, and if it can be glued on, pressed in, or crimped with the actual head itself, its being done. And all that just to kill the very resonance drummers are so wildly chasing by purchasing True Note technology, air seal technology, DWs latest and greatest coolaid about shell construction, Tamas "hyperdrive" shells, mini lugs, low mass lugs, carbon lugs........ or by retrofitting vintage drums with RIMs, ISS mounts, and various other methods.
By the way, these drums do sing. Single ply coated on top, clear single ply on bottom. Great sound.
