That looks English Rogers, but it has been messed with. You have beavertail lugs and tall hoops - classic ER combination 1965 onward. Did they use those lug plates in the US? They did for ER. That isn't an original wrap. ER was never available in black. Someone has added a non Ajax damper - looks Premier????. I think I can see two holes in the shell which would take the ER logo (2mm diameter and 45mm apart). No paint inside. The grain should run from edge to edge rather than around the drum like US Rogers. Value £30 - £60 cos of the messing. A good one would be £100 - £110. Would be interested to know what that piece of wood is doing inside the shell.

This is an earlier ER. Compare the positioning of the strainer, damper, grommet hole (covered by piece of wood???). Different from the US ones. Just off to the left you can see a store plate, and in that panel would have been the logo (opposite the grommet hole) but it has broken off like so many have.
