I recently purchased an interesting Rogers drum set. It has two virgin 22 inch bass drums, 9x13, 10x14 toms mounted on a swivomatic twin stand; 16x16 floor tom. I'm guessing they are around 1970 with Dayton powertone tags: color is black. They are similar to the ultra power kit in the 1970 Rogers catalog but without the 24 inch bass drums. The catalog doesn't mention this kit was available with the 22 inch bass drums. Was this a custom order or something made between 1967 and 1970 when there didn't seem to be a catalog?
