I bought a 5 piece vintage Rogers set. All of the shells have Powertone labels except on track tom. This on erack tom has a Holiday label. It appears it was re-wrapped to match the other shells. The muffler was removed and the holes were covered. (see photos). After the new wrap was put on, the Rogers scrip logo was installed near where the muffler holes were. So, I have a drum that does not sound very good. I need to replace the muffler to suit my taste. Should I mess with this shell and drill though the "new" wrap, remove the scrip logo and install a replacement muffler? Or should I go out and try to find a Powertone shell similar to the other shells in the set?
