Hello all, Picked up an old rogers snare , big "R" on the badge, just below the big R it say's R-380 it's a 15in x 5.5 chrome with 5 beads around the center. Screwy looking snare thro off (don't think it's working well)

Gonna try and post some pics ( had trouble in the past with this)

Can anyone help me with this drum?

Actually a Yamaha snare with a Rogers badge. Not to say it doesn't sound ok, just Rogers entry level sets made by Yamaha.

Do you get a message when you try to post pics? May be over size limitation. You can resize using MS Paint.

Was told by the prev. owner that this drum ( also have a kick -mounted tom & flr. tom) that this set is from around 1976

Try uploading your photo here first and then copy and paste it's assigned IMG code into your thread.

First my apologies on my first answer. The drum you have isnt what I was thinking about. Your version has a "supersensitive" type snare system. Im going to have to research this one a bit, as I am not familiar with the set up being used here.
