Brook Mays era, yes.
Value.... dont give a lot for it. Under a hundred. It might be brass, it might be steel. They made some of both.

Thank you sir! Exactly what I was looking for. It is priced at 80, however, if it is not worth doulbing, then why spend my money....? Are the COB more worthy than the steelies?
I would rather buy another acrolite myself.
Drums in this class, Decent, make really nice gifts to an up and coming player.
Its probably a decent snare, based on reviews I have seen. And having owned one of the Brook Mays maple 3x14 drums for a short time, which was of decent quality on the lower end price range. Way better than some of the stuff sold in school band programs to beginners.
