i saw this snare for sale for 150 is it worth it?

It's either a generic imported drum that someone tacked a badge to, a Brooks May era imported generic drum that they sold under the rogers name or one of the recent Yamaha generic imported drums sold under the Rogers name.

I'd pass.

It is a brooks Mays. Not a bad drum for what it is. This was produced close to the end of their run, just about the time they began to offer better quality drums under the Rogers name. It is better than any of the Yamaha stuff. I dont think its worth 150. And no, its not vintage.
