Rogers / Slingerland replacement & repair parts

Loading...

Hi,

Very soon I plan to list here my top quality Rogers & Slingerland replacement parts here. Most are made from solid stainless steel or aircraft grade aluminum. I offer tom arms, tom legs, collet noses / closers, spurs, set screws, cymbal arms, snare drum repair parts, one of a kind creations and much much more. I need to make collective photos before I post.

My parts are the best quality, made from the best materials & I offer the best service. Ask around, my reputation precedes me.

Some of my parts are actually improvements upon the factory originals. My parts are spec'd from factory originals. I make custom parts as well based upon what I already offer. All parts are hand made single step operations. no computerized machines in this operation. As a result availability is limited on some intricate items.

I am moving away from e-bay & Reverb to offer direct. Many people have purchased directly from me on Facebook, but there are quite a few that don't use that medium for whatever reason.

Watch for postings & I greatly appreciate the opportunity to provide these parts to keep vintage drums alive !

Thanks, Steve Ellis.

Hello Steve,

I don’t know you and therefore don’t want to read too much into your word choice, but it appeared to me that your statement about people choosing not to use facebook “for whatever reason” is dismissive of those making such a choice. There are many reasons I am not on facebook, and I know that other members of VDF also choose not to use it.

Perhaps I am making too much of this, and I am truly NOT trying to make this political. If I am making a mountain out of an ant hill, my apologies. It just felt like swipe at people who don’t think the same way you do.

Probably too sensitively,

Josh

Josh... Facebook can be politically tilted in either direction depending on one's circle of Facebook "friends". The Facebook platform rightly or wrongly chooses for a user which slant of politics will be most of what an individual will see on his or her screen. Some people want to use this platform while others avoid it.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Leedy,

I am well aware of what facebook is all about. My remark was addressing the apparent bewilderment expressed by the OP that others were not using that medium.

Hi Josh!

I've never been a fan of using Facebook and, as such, prefer not to use it. While I do have a Facebook account, I deactivated it many years ago. Steve is simply trying to offer his parts to those who prefer not to use Facebook, Reverb or eBay.

More to the point, I've worked with Steve on a few occasions and can tell you that he is a standup guy when it comes to what he is offering. Truth be told, I'm sure that Steve might be loosing money with his offerings. A lot of R&D goes into all his parts! Even something as simple as his stainless steel Slingerland straight floor tom legs! I sent Steve one of my straight legs from a 1967 kit so he could get the specs right!

Have you seen his Rogers Swivomatic tom arms? Wow! I'd rather purchase his than to track down a period-correct arm that was abused over the years. Not to say that good, original, arms aren't out there, but it's just getting more difficult to find them in the condition that I'm willing to accept.

Steve offers so many well-made parts and if you are searching for replacements, please consider what he offers...which means USA-made parts of the highest quality!

And, no, I'm not an endorser and not getting paid to say this! LOL!
