So you think these Rogers of ours are 3 ply ? They feel heavier than that to me.

Rogers were 5 ply but switched to Keller shells which the earlier ones were 3 ply. But after a couple years, the Keller were changed to 5 ply. So it is possible that you have 5 ply. My 24 bass is super light. I was really surprised when I first picked it up.

Side, note, the CEO or someone like that 8 months or more ago came out saying that in fact the 3 ply they were making at the time are all maple birch maple and not poplar as was indicated in the catalogs.
