Rogers, Rogers

I'm considering buying one of these Rogers kits. I want to play them, not re-sell. I'm curious if either one is worth picking up.

1) Rogers b&b lug in an orange sparkle finish, floor is a converted marching Yorktown snare.

8x12, 12x15, 12x20

$500

2) Rogers R360 in a red umber finish.

8x12, 9x13, 16x16, 14x20

$400

Thanks.

That little orange kit is really really cool. I'd get that.

The orange set without a snare would be the one. I would offer no more than $400 for it.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

that is most likely a faded Sparkling Red Pearl unless it's a rewrap

definitely worth $500 even with the converted field drum.

best to get a count on how many of those lugs are cracked though ... could end up being a nightmare

As far as I know, Rogers never offered orange sparkle. Do, yes... the wrap must be faded red sparkle or a rewrap. Fixing or replacing badly damaged lugs could be a costly procedure. This is why I suggest a $400 offer for the bass and toms including the Swivomatic tom arm
