Rogers Restore

Hi all, I just picked up this kit. The shells and the wrap are not bad. Scuffs and stains here and there but overall ok.The chrome has some pitting but no rust. Its missing parts as you can see. I will make a list and put it in the wanted section.

Now what is cool about it is that I got it from Bobby T. the drummer and singer from Larry Chance and the Earls! He played the snot out of it all through the 70s and it shows. His favorite drummer is Gene Krupa and on the Earls website is a cool pic of him and Gene! Bobby played with a lot of people in his day. So the mojo and history is really fantastic.

It can never be a collector piece and I intend to play it with my 50/60s band.

Thanks,Ed

I'd say it's actually in really decent shape. Definitely collectable. It doesn't look like it has extra holes and the wrap is not cracking which is common for these. Nice score!! I have a blue onyx kit rogers as well. They sound incredible!

Very cool what sizes did you get? Looks like 20-16-13? I agree they look to be in good shape and clean up nice.
