Rogers Red Onyx Drums Complete

Loading...

Well, I mentioned re-wrapping with a veneer when they were in the for sale section and I felt that Mark was a bit offended. I'm not a fan of that wrap so it would be easy for me to remove the existing wrap. But either way they are a great set of drums.

Thank you!

I'm not going to re-wrap, it will cost me almost as much as I have in the kit and all the work is a pain. They look good enough to gig with and at the end of the day, the sound is all that really matters.

I'm sorry to say, but your going to lose money one way or another if you rewrap.

I would say, sell them and save for a kit you love.

+1 They are definitely good enough to gig with as is. I think the cracks and dings give them road worn "character". Some of the guitar guys pay big bucks for "relic" guitars with that road worn look. If the cracked wrap is loose and moving around I'd consider using some clear 3M packing tape to stabilize it.

The cracks aren't moving around, I don't notice any difference in sound from other Rogers kits I've had, so I'll leave them as they are.
