I'm thinking about buying this R360 kit, judging by the lugs I'm guessing these are the ones made in the 60's by Yamaha. It has a Slingerland double tom arm, so I'm sure that would devalue it, I can probably pick these up for $400, not sure if that's a good deal, but I love the finish.

Probably max up on price. No room for profit. Red Umber I think they called that.
Not sure the Slingerland mod would do much to devalue these as they aren't worth a ton to begin with. If anything the Slingerland is going to be an improvement over the original hardware.

Those first-generation R360 and R380 kits were well-made drums! The shells are birch and mahogany. As Ploughman noted, the wrap is called Red Umber. Those lugs were designed by Joe Thompson!
I picked up an R-360 COS shell that also came with the original muffler and butt. I installed 8 beavertail lugs and a Swivo strainer I had in my parts bin. The snare sounds great! It's kinda like a COS Powertone!
