The original Rogers 360's from the 1960's were made by Yamaha and were a cut above the other imports of the day in terms of quality (although still no where close to the American made Rogers) but the Pearl style tom mounts on this set indicates that these ain't those. I'd probably steer clear unless they were super cheap...and even then....

I figured it was nothing special, but he's including a Rogers cob Powertone snare for $300. I've seen those bring $275 alone.

Might be worth buying for the snare then putting a cheap snare with the rest of it and sell off to get most of the money back. A free, or nearly free, powertone might be worth the effort.

Not to mention it comes with all the stands.

My guess is that that "cobweb" finish was added by a prior owner rather than being factory. That underlying metallic wine red wrap is another thing that screams "stencil set".
