I could swear that I was either told or that I had read somewhere that the interior shells of the Cleveland-era Powertone snare drums were painted a gloss gray in lieu of a flat gray.
Am I totally "losing it" or is this, in fact, true?Help2

This is the interior of my Powertone (Blue Onyx) Although hard to see, it's got a slight shine to it.
