Just got this snare, serial 5588. I've seen it listed in catalogues 64, 67, and 70. The fittings look identical to me. Sorry about the blurred label - it's Cleveland, Ohio and also has a penciled F.

I'm mainly a vintage Ludwig player/collector and know naff-all about Rogers.

Could someone please give me a ballpark or specific year?

P.S. It sounds great. Plenty of brassy pop and crack. I haven't owned a COB for a couple of years and forgot how much resonance they have. Heavy buggers, too.
