Rogers Memri-Loc cow bell holder

Loading...

Hi all...

Question for the Rogers experts. With the Rogers Memri-Loc hardware, was there ever a set up where you could mount a cowbell on the third holder of the tri (hole) mount? This would be between the 13" and 14" toms. Pic below shows what I have. I've seen it used for cymbals, a third tom, chimes, etc. Would anyone be able to weigh in here, if it's been done before? I'm always hesitant to mount any cowbell on any of my vintage hoops, for fear of ripping them up...

Thanks!!

The safest would be a universal clamp with a mini boom arm mounted directly on the tom holder. P.s. i am jealous of that kit, i am looking for that very rig.

Here is a idea using an adapter sleeve- use a rod (instead of the tom arm) to mount the cowbell.

Thanks for the input! I love these drums, first set after owning all Slingerlands. The sound is phenomenal. They look sweet and the Cortex is bullet proof! The Memri-Loc, though not aesthetically pleasing (some don't like it, i think it looks fine) are built like a tank. They don't move. The Slingerland hardware looks pretty, but doesn't hold (or is as versatile) as the Memri-Loc. The set is 24/13/14/18. Snare is a COB 6.5x14 Slingerland. These were real dirty and had a few small interior cracks on a drum or two, but everything else was great. I believe mostly all original too...

Thanks for the information! I really appreciate it! I this still available? Or is it something i'll have to look for on the used market, eBay, CL etc..?

The adapters come up on eBay fairly often. Check the FB pages for Rogers Group 2 as well.

Here is the mount you are looking for. Add a round rod to clamp the cowbell on.
