Rogers kit barn find ANY/ALL info appreciated!

Loading...

Hello folks - So I came across this old set of Rogers for $100. I believe the finish is called Koa. They need a lot of work and I'd like to find out specifically what they are, year etc. before I start collecting what seems like pretty expensive hardware.

Thanks again, ahead of time!

Right now you are asking for information kinda like "I found a Ford in a barn. What do I have?"

Koa wrap was offered from late 60's to mid 70's. Gonna need more information to offer anything useful.

Swivomatic or Memriloc hardware would be a good start to tracking info Badge information as well. Google Rogers Koa for pictures to compare with yours is a good start as well.

Whatever they turn out to be, you most likely have much more than $100 in salvageable parts if the drums turn out to be total crap not worthy of rehabilitation. But, amosguy's suggestions are right on the mark.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

The shells are in pretty good shape. I'm starting with replacing the bass T-rods but not sure which type. These have the bow-ties and what I think are later Rogers version rods.

Thanks!

Why do my pics keep getting deleted? They show up on preview but when I come back they're gone.

I apologize for my ignorance on the site, this is my first post in many years. Am I missing something??

Uploaded jpeg Pics can't have either dimension exceed 1000 pixels so maybe you need to reduce their size first. I usually make the larger dimension 999 pixels just to be safe.
