Thanks for that info. I'm learning more and more about these drums.

So, I took the BD, 13" and 16" toms to the gig last night, and used my Slingerland Studio King snare. The drums sounded great...I think. The acoustics in this venue were so bad, I couldn't tell, to be honest, so I'm hoping that next time I take them out, I'll get a better picture of the way they really perform. The guys in the band liked the way they looked, and couldn't believe they were 52-53 years old. The bass player commented that the BD was very deep and punchy.
