Rogers Holiday Snare Resto

Loading...

I picked up this Holiday snare several months ago The wrap was off when I got it and the 'finish' on it was.....eh; I think one thin coat of verithane. Apart from some chips in the interior, the shell's in good shape. The tall boy hoops are good, the collet is nice and the B&B's are okay; couple of very minor cracks in 3 of the 8, but good for age. missing the throw arm and butt plate. few pics of progress thus far. bear in mind that this thing was never going to be a 'restore to new' candidate. just a reasonable player. There are two stamped "F"s on the reinforcing rings I discovered after light sanding. Any idea what these are all about? thnx
