Rogers Holiday Kit

Loading...

I recently bought a 4 piece Rogers Holiday kit that was just hanging out in the corner of this guys house. At first sight I thought it was in bad shape but after closer inspection it was just dusty. After I bought it and gave it a good wipe down it surprised me how good of condition it is in and looks.

He told me it was 1969 and I believed him because they are all marked Fullerton, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to double check. I was wondering if anyone could give me some help dating them.

-12" Tom - 26089

-13" Tom - 29527

-16" Floor Tom - 28650

-22" Kick - 27048

All are grey speckled interior

Hey guys. Are those numbers in line with CA Rogers? Seems like the numbers should be higher than that to be from CA. These might be younger than 69, eh?

[COLOR="DarkRed"]That's pretty amazing...looks like all the hardware's there, too.

'69-70 or so, I'd say....those serial #'s are definitely close enough to say that it is a factory kit...no orphans slipped into this kit.

Now, these are Fullerton Holiday tags, which are a bit unusual. Earliest Fullertons still had Dayton tags leftover from the move. The Fullerton Hoiday tags were made briefly in 1970, the story goes. Fullertons as of late '71-72 had either Powertone tags or small sized Fullerton tags by then...so fair to say this is no later than an early '71.....

Here's another thread, this gent had slightly younger vintage than yours, by a few years it looks. Just some dating info, really...
