Rogers Holiday Dayton 16" Fl. Tom Blue Onyx

Loading...

Less than that and Ill just keep it - Rogers 16" Holiday Blue Onyx Re-wrap player professionally done - in excellent condition - great sounding tom. Selling as I was able to find a 14" FT in decent original condition and will use that in my jazz kit along with my original 12", soon to be restored 13" and 20bd!

Speckled interior. Some non-original rods and someone pointed out non-original leg mounts - all or some , not sure. Dayton label reads 'Holiday' in pencil with a marker blocking out the word 'Luxor' and initials in ink in top corner are hard to read but an VDF member thought it was FW for Frank Walters, a quality control worker at Rogers (but only a guess-Im not a Rogers expert!). A great-sounding players drum to compete your kit.

325 USD or equiv CAD. Im near Toronto, Canada. I'll ship at cost to anywhere. I just put a Remo coated ambassador on batter and clear ambassador on resonant - I will remove them and take inside pics inside for seriously interested parties if you PM me. Got my eye on another kit for my large sizes kit so I'm letting this one go.

From what Ive seen, there is a slight difference in tone of some rewraps upon close inspection -also depends on how much fade is on the original wrap drums in the kit - I have a 14" original tom and their appears little difference it seems to me from this re-wrap 16, whereas my original 12 there is more of a difference with the turquoise tone of the blue in the original - from 3-4 steps away, it is hard to see much difference but those with much more knowledge of Rogers will know more - this is a players drum rather than a collector drum due to re-wrap and some hardware (rods, one or more leg mounts) is later Rogers. Sound-wise, it sounds great and to me at least I can hear little difference with an original wrap drum - I guess it depends on the quality of the re-wrap job as well. Others with more Rogers knowledge, please feel free to chime in.

This drum has been described well...

The wrap is a good match...and well done.
