Rogers Headliner

First, I must apologize that this kit is not complete. Here's why. This started out as a 1967 (Rogers best year!) Londoner kit, in original Pink Strata. The wrap was REALLY BAD, with large cracks everywhere. I knew it couldn't be saved and just looked very sad. The wrap was removed and the shells cleaned of all glue and truly wrap-ready. The double-tom bracket on the bass drum was plugged and the shell drilled for a single Swivo mount. The kit essentially became a Headliner, with a 12, 16, 20 configuration. The hardware was simply next to stunning, with virtually no pitting! Then, all of a sudden, I decided to sell the kit. Don't ask me why!! I even had an entire Swivo hardware set to go with it, which was sold separately from the kit. So, here I am, about 3 years later, wondering why I would do such a thing. Feel free to either publicly tar and feather me, or empathize with me, as you've done the same thing at some point in your life!!! Ah...memories!

Roughly fifteen years ago I've sold my first real drumkit, thinking of never needing to play drums again (growing up a family, building a house etc.).

But as my son became older and older and everything turned out to be easygoing, the old passion came up again ...

So today I'm proud owner of this first drumkit again. Yes, I managed to buy it back at a halfway reasonable price from the same guy whom I sold once.

That was two years ago.

I didn't regret this decision (and for sure I'll never ever sell it once again ...).

You're not alone :)

I really like 1966-67! But, I'll certainly take the 1963-64 any day!

I appreciate your compassion! That's also great news that you got your kit back. Enjoy it!
