Hi all,

Any possible way of dating this Dynasonic? These are the only pics I have. I’m assuming that everything is intact.

Thanks in advance!

A pic of the badge number would narrow it down, but from the Big-R style snare gate, this would be a late Fullerton script Dyna, maybe 1973-1974, just before the Dyna's got the Big-R badge.

I would agree with Mike's assessment, provided that the lower hoop is original to the drum. If it is, then yes, 1973-74. I believe that the lugs had the C-clips around the lug insert sometime in 1975.

It’s with this Slingerland kit, which I’m thinking is late 1970s as well. A realtor friend (also a drummer) came across it in a basement of a house he was checking out. He’s inquiring as to whether or not it’s for sale.

Was there a disco ball hanging over the drum set?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

'77 would be expected for that serial. Later version of the that wrap. Would look good cleaned up. Set appears era correct.

Completely agree with slingerfan's estimate of 1977. Love the concert toms! They appear to be 10/12/13/14. Is that correct?

Here's my very late 70's (or early 80's. I don't really recall when I bought them!) BR kit with 4 concert toms - 10/12/13/14. I loved that kit! I also had a very slim waste and nice wavy hair! LoLoLoLo
