That is a very interesting find Mark. Thanks for posting it. I'm looking forward to greater developments. Any idea who is operating this revived Rogers firm? I wonder if they have involved JP2 in any of the early manufacturing.

This is very cool news. Website was taken down so hopefully it'll be up again by the NAMM show. Think they got the word out though. FB has been a buzz and then some. Will be VERY interesting to see costs of drums and if they sell individual parts.

Glenn.

After reading through the posts on this topic over at DFO, it appears that Dixon purchased the Rogers rights from Yamaha. Dixon is owned by Reliance. Most are thinking that the new "Rogers" will be prominently displayed at the upcoming NAMM.

As to prices, my personal thoughts are that this will be a premium line, with prices to match. I'd like to be proven wrong, but, I can't help but think that this will be yet another niche market undertaking, with relatively low market interest. Anyone who has taken "business 101" will immediately now that prices come down when you make more parts. Let's see what happens. JP2's BB lugs are pricey. Wondering where these will be priced, along with the other parts and complete snare drums. Pretty cool, though!

I've stayed out of this here, and on FB, as there are SO MANY guys talking about it! I will say that I have it on good order .. and there is no harm in mentioning that I think ... that yes ... NAMM will indeed tell all! There was some BUZZ generated though, eh? :)
