I owned this Rogers set in Pink Strata for a few years. The 22, 13, and 16 combination was a great sounding drum set, and the 14 was not all that great when mounted next to the 13. It sounded much better once I moved the 10x14 from the bass drum to the floor cradle.

That's a nice looking kit. That bass looks like a 14x20 with 8 lugs each side. The mounts suggest it might have been a Headliner set-up originally. I had these a number of years ago, but didn't keep them very long because I was facing a major move. A bit of regret and I never posted photos on this site.

It's been a few years. So, I may me remembering incorrectly. That bass drum might have been a 14x20.

I do not have any strata finishes. Two of the Ripples..... Looking for the Blue Ring now.

I have a 9/72 Londoner V in Black Strata.... looks like a "Ringo" kit, but cooler electricit

Ok gurus. Educate me on Rogers wraps. I thought Ludwig named their wraps Strata and Roders were named Onyx.

Rogers used both strata and onyx wraps. See attached from the 1967-68 catalog. Second row are the onyx finishes and fourth row are the strata finishes. Initial strata finishes that show up on 68 drums were somewhat different than the oysters used by Ludwig, but eventually were very close to the same. The second picture shows the earlier black strata.

I think I got it.

However, I have a Rogers - R360 model snare in what would be considered blue Strata? The additional twist is. The person that sold it to me told me it was a 1960's Rogers R360 in Blue Ripple . . . :confused:
