Rogers COB Powertone questions

As Dan points out, the pinch plate is on the back...which makes for a more difficult procedure to install the string!

I purchased all Rogers Repro parts for my Montineri clone Dynasonic shell. I'm just not crazy about the Clock-face strainer and replaced it with a Swivo strainer. The repro Clock-face just sits in my Rogers parts box!

Don't get me wrong. The repro Clock-face strainer is a beautiful piece of engineering, but I would have preferred that they also offer the Swivo strainer, too!

It was a beautiful reproduction and the key rods are an enhancement. Just a pain to use, though the video makes it look less so. Maybe it's jut my fat fingers.

It does make me wonder if there was a pattern on the Swivomatic and not on the clock face and that's why the clock face was reissued.
