7 Line Dyna w/early custom built badge.

Shell Only: $250 Shipped in USA

Shell, Muffler, Top Tall Hoop, 4 Working Lugs, 4 broken lugs (with inserts/springs/mounting hardware), Butt End: $350 Shipped in USA

This shell is in really nice shape and rare (obviously). One of the first 2000 Dynas made. Late serial to still have B+B lugs. No extra holes. No dents. Nice Chrome.

When you say "no dents" I have to ask about what looks like a dent from being dropped on a lug in picture #1 (2nd lug from left) and picture #2 the holes right of the badge? Can you clarify please?

Just closely inspected the drum.

What you are seeing in pic one does not appear in reality when looking at the drum. There seems to be no sign of "dropping on a lug". It seems as straight as the rest of the shell to me.

Picture #2 to the right of the badge DOES seem to have a slight indent where the tab was attached to the drum. Possible over tightening of the lug? Not sure. It doesn't seem to translate to the inside of the shell at all.

Hope that is helpful. It is in EX condition to my eye. I am no expert, but it sure seems like a great shell to me. No doubt would be a beauty in complete condition.

Thanks for the question, and please let me know if there is anything else.

I stand corrected. The 1st picture is an optical illusion, the angle of the lug makes the 7-line look different, as does the lug on the left in the same pic, I looked closer and discovered the errs in my ways.

As far as the 2nd picture, the "slight indent" on the right side, can you provide a close up of the area, right of the badge, from the inside and outside of the shell for me?

It was very common for any Dynasonic to have this same type of "slight indent" when they were dropped on a lug, due to the softness of the brass shell. I know, I've fixed a few of my own, just trying to determine how much on your drum, before I try to purchase it.

Upon further inspection, I think you may be correct on the area to the right of the custom badge. There is a very very small noticeable bump on the inside as well..but only on the one side. I didn't see it the first time I looked! It took some direct light in order to see the reflection. Here are two pictures. Pic #1 is outside, and pic #2 is inside.

Thanks for the eagle eye! Please let it be known that I did not knowingly mis-represent this drum! This is a VERY minor bump we are talking about and would no doubt go unnoticed with a lug on the drum.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
