Rogers Cleveland 12 14 20

Found this kit when on a business trip to MCAS Cherry Point.

No extra holes, no mods, factory edges, all paper tags, and fairly clean.

A couple more pictures. Hate to admit that these pinstripes sound good on this kit.

That’s a nice looking kit.

I think old Rogers toms are like a Acrolites and Supraphonic snares: hard to make them sound bad...

Snares:

A Louis Bellson Citation, no doubt. My favorite, along with the Citadel.

Rogers was well ahead of their time to be honest. Between their bearing edges and hardware they rival most modern drums imho.

When I saw the sizes I could not pass them up. I recently traded my Rogers 12 14 18 to Steve Maxwell so this kit fills that void.

I love my Rogers and I love my Ludwigs, both sound great. I'll take a vintage kit over any modern kit anyday.
