I definitely agree, but have always been afraid to say so! So thanks for manning-up and saying what I have been to afraid to!Clapping Happy2Sometimes it's better to spend the little extra if it's something we really want instead of kicking ourselves later for letting it slip away. And not for nothing, you like this guy, he might even become a friend, and in a small way, that sort of plays into this as well.

It's just a more global look at things, I suppose. And, unless we wish to be buried with our possessions, we are really just custodians of them for a period of time till the next person takes care of them.

This opinion and a buck-fifty will get you a non-fair trade cup of coffee at the local convenience store....lol

I, too, never noticed the badge issue for the 13" tom! DOH Not a real deal breaker, but it does bother my OCD with badge placement! LoLoLoLo

The wrap seams and Memriloc tom bracket are correct, but just the badge/grommet is not where it should be.

Here's a picture of the toms for the 1976 Big R kit I'm restoring. The rack toms (13" and 14") are correct in regards to placement of the badge.

I understand about the seller not wanting to budge on price...and that he's a good guy! Becoming friends would be a bonus and worth the extra $$$ for the kit. It's just up to you now!!

I've been watching this Big R kit on eBay. Same issue with the 8x12 and 9x13 toms, with the badges in the same position. And this does appear to be a factory set.
