Rogers B&B lug tension rod and muffler Q's.........

I'm getting down to the wire with my Cleveland B&B lug Rogers kit. Just a handful of things left to get. Can someone please post a picture of the correct tension rods used on B&B lug drums? I think there were changes in the head of the rods? Thought I read that somewhere. And also what is the correct length of the rods for both a 13" and 16" tom with tallboy hoops? I think the 13's were 1 7/8" and the 16's 2 1/4". If someone can confirm it would really help me out. Also if anyone is selling any of these T rods please hit me up!

I'm also looking for a picture of the correct mufflers for the 13" and 16" toms too. I don't know if the knobs were different from the later versions? I've read something about this too but not sure if it falls into the years of mine or not. And these were black pad mufflers yes? My toms are from 60-61 timeframe I've been told. Script badges.

The CT Drum show is coming up and hoping to find a few things there. As always thank you! So many here have been a HUGE help over the years. A great group for sure! Yes Sir

Hi Jeff thanks buddy! Don't have any new pics yet sorry. The drums are still wrapped up tucked away. Soon as I get the parts and drums sorted out I'll add some new pictures. And thanks for the parts offer too I'll let you know. Hoping to grab some stuff at the CT show but if not I might take you up on that. :)

Can anyone help please? I really don't want to just settle and buy new T rods. I've seen some 60's Rogers T rods on ebay. But I don't know if they changed from the B&B era to the Beavertail era. And if the lengths I posted are correct. In the end this kit needs to be just right and all original. Any help would be greatly appreciated~! Thank you. :)

Just got home. Here are the T-rods and muffler that are on the 13" tacked reso, 5 proto lug tom. A bit before your toms so don't if will help.

Sorry, but the only info I could provide about the tension rods you already know...that is, the Cleveland and early Dayton rods had perfectly flat faces on the square head. Sometime during the Dayton era, the faces had those little "blips" at the base of the head.

There's two different Cleveland B&B-era mufflers I've come across... gray and black. The early version has a perfectly flat, grayish pad mounted on a flat plate, while the other later version has a softer black pad mounted on a concave plate. Both muffler chassis on both versions were identical. Pictures below. Ploughman or one of the Dan's might know when the change occurred.

the parts in the photos of the very early Rogers drum are not what you need.

The items in the photos of the BDP drum are what is needed. Does you drum have the flat bearing edges like the BDP drum in the photo? If so, the tone control on the left is what you need. If the drum has the sharper edges (not shown) it uses the tc on the right.

Of course, to be a little more accurate, the serial number comes into play, that's where Bobby Chaisson can help you, and with the tension rods also.
