Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a 14" Rogers Butcher block floor tom. I have all the hardware for it so even if the BB is in slighty rough shape I'd be interested in just the shell.
may thanks,
Vince

The 70s were all about big drums, monster kits, gargantuan sizes.
Rogers had produced 14x14 floor toms in the 60s. During the Cleveland/Dayton tag periods. The move to fullerton, ca brought a lot of changes. 14x14 floor toms just were not in demand.
The 14x14 made its return in 1982... first pictured in the 1983 XP8 drums catalog.
Not to say there wont be a fullerton five ply or 9/72 fullerton three ply 14x14 out there somewhere, but if so, it will be a very rare sight indeed.
Please pardon my ignorance and help me out here: what does 9/72 mean. Also, was there many 3ply shells made in the CBS period; I bet they sound very good.
