Rogers 360 Wrap -- Original?

Loading...

Can somebody please tell me if the wrap on the drums in the pics I've attached is original? I've never seen it on a vintage Rogers 360 kit. I'm assuming that it's a re-wrap. Can anyone confirm? The current owner of the kit is calling it a "champagne pearl" wrap.

Thanks in advance for your time and your help.

I believe that wrap is original. These drums were Yamaha made and shared some of the wrap choices with Yamaha. Looks like red pine to me http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/catalogs/yamaha/yamaha4.jpg or red umber in the Rogers catalog http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/rogers_sets/1982_flyer/1982_rogers_brochure2.jpg

Thanks for the information. After reading your feedback I pulled out Rob Cook's, "The Rogers Book" and did see it in there. I appreciate your help! I really like the looks of that particular wrap.

If the price is right, buy it! Here's a picture of mine with two Fullerton era drums. That floor sounded great and was built like a tank.

Yup - original. Not too long ago, there was a guy on here (or was it DFO?) trying to sell some of those (3 pc no snare - SAME COLOR) but nobody wanted them (and he was all the way down to like $200). It really bummed me out because I already have some R-380s. Hard to pass up a deal - even when you already have them. In fact, that drives me even more crazy! (I can't believe these people are passing on that!!)

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

What would you consider a "reasonable" price for a kit (12/13/16/20) like this in nice shape?
