Will be interesting to watch this - what's your plan? 99 cent opening bid, reasonable reserve, high reserve? I've got a sales price in mind just for grins.

Not a bidder, just watching - saw you moved your timbales, congrats!

Thanks!

Only have (2) bass drums left.

Not sure how I'm going to list them. If I do an auction, I'll probably use a $350 reserve. It depends. I'm watching other auctions on reverb and ebay. If this is the type of item that generates a lot of interest, I'll do an auction. If not, I'll do a buy it now and let it sit till the right person comes along.

If you do a BIN or reserve at $350, you will generate zero interest. Way too high, imho. Yes, there is a lot of auction psychology at play.

A 7-day auction with an opening 99 cent bid will generate plenty of interest and bids will come through in the last hour (ok, minute). The major headache is shipping cost, but set it at a flat $75 for lower 48 and you will likely be ok (look at shipnerd.com). Your virgin basses have a slight mystique, but frankly most Rogers guys calculate the parts value, so a Swingtime or Headliner configuration should bring more $. The 22" helps you. Do it this way, ending on Sunday night, and I predict a winning bid around $240. It is what it is.

What you learn from the sale of the first bass, apply to the sale of bass #2.

Seems low. After eBay's take, it leaves me with $200.
